Learnings
We learned a lot from this event and will document some of what we learned here.
Preparation
There was still so much to prepare but easier than that first time! We had many internal meetings and discussions about what we should do, what we should bring, etc. We think the planning paid off but we did not plan for the eventuality of people registering and not responding or showing up as there were a few of those this time. We will change the registration process next time and try to it more of an exclusive and private event.

Agenda
We had three talks: an intro to LA NET and what we do followed by a talk from Microsoft on what the newest trends are as well as Azure Fabric. We learned from Georgia about how AI is helping businesses to be more efficient with the Copilot set of tools. And we learned about the latest in data analytics using Azure Fabric. Adrian from Ingram talked to us all about some of the incentives on offer from Microsoft and how we can leverage those. This includes free workload assessments for workloads being migrated into Azure. LA NET works closely with Ingram Micro on projects like Azure Migration and Fabric. contact us if you want to know more about the technologies and to see if you can receive any funding from Microsoft for any project work.
