PostBidShip’s SaaS freight matching platform was architected for the cloud. Its combination of an efficient web portal, mobile app and RESTful APIs let shippers, carriers and brokers conduct business in the platform from their desktops, tablets or
mobile devices. Getting started on the platform requires no software downloads, no IT setup or ongoing maintenance, and no dedicated hardware. The ability to access loads anywhere at any time keeps users operating at peak efficiency.
The Challenge
PostBidShip needed to scale its innovative digital freight matching platform, ensuring it was resilient, secure, and efficient on the Microsoft Azure cloud. The platform, essential for shipping companies, required expert guidance to architect its Azure infrastructure, integrating services like App Services, Functions, Load Balancers, and SQL Database instances while maintaining high security and resilience.
The Solution
LA NET partnered with PostBidShip to ensure their platform was production-ready and scalable. Utilizing best practices and deep industry knowledge, LA NET architected and deployed a resilient, secure environment. Key technologies included Azure Policy for governance, Azure Application Gateway with Web Application Firewalls for traffic security, cross-region database replication, and Azure Traffic Manager for regional outage protection.
The Outcome
PostBidShip’s platform, implemented by LA NET, was ready within a week, ensuring secure, resilient, and scalable operations. The architecture allowed automatic failover during regional outages and provided enhanced security with just-in-time access controls.
